American Flamingo - Playa Larga, CU
This was one of my bucket list birds! The colorful water waders are a common resident of the Zapata Swamp in the southern part of Cuba near the Bay of Pigs. During the winter months the birds will number in the thousands. Watching these beautiful birds feed in the shallows is a real treat.
