California Condors are the largest bird that takes flight in the world and can be found in only a handful of locations in the world. In fact, they are only found in the Western United States and Mexico with the Navajo Bridge being one of the greatest locations to see them.. Some of the rarest birds in the world were down to a world wide population of 22 individuals in the 1980's with all of the birds being caught for a breeding program to try to save them. Today there are over 560 birds with approximately 210 of those birds still in captivity.
