Just about to the beach at Cape Coral we had a couple birds catch our eye including this Chestnut-headed Bee-eater. It was flying from the wires along the side of the road making sorties to catch bugs on the wing. These bee-eaters are found in three location in the south east Asia, Costal India and South Indonesia. They are well suited to human influenced areas where they fly catch over fields and cleared areas from taller perches.
