Eurasian Teal are also called Common Teal and Eurasian Green-winged Teal and are found across Asia and Europe. They are considered the same species as the American Green-winged teal which are found in most locations around North America. The Eurasian Teal are sometimes found coming down the west coast of North America with its cousins and can be distinguished by the broad white stripe running along the leading edge of its wing where the American version is found just back from the breast of the bird like here.
