Ferruginous Hawk - Consul, SK
We were very lucky to great up close and personal with the largest hawk in North America. These beautiful pale birds are found on the grass lands of the continent eating just about everything that moves with gophers being a favorite. This bird was just settling down on the fence post outside of Consul, Saskatchewan when we saw him.
