Harris's Sparrow - Terra Nova Rural Park, BC
A rare fall visitor from east of the Rockies stopped by for a brief visit in a park along the coast. This handsome Harris's sparrow found itself some free food in and among the regulars at Terra Nova Rural Park in Richmond. The range of these birds usually keep them in the center of the continent breeding in the artic and boreal forest and wintering in the central planes and Texas.
