House Sparrow - Bang Pa-in, TH

I rarely post pictures of Escapees or invasive species, but as it turns out, this was the first time I had seen a House Sparrow where he was supposed to be. House sparrows are native to Thailand along with several other Passer species like the Plain-backed and Eurasian Tree sparrows. Unlike where I live, these little guys were out numbered 5-1 for Eurasian Tree Sparrows. House Sparrow were released in several locations around the globe and I have noted one of the most wide spread invasive species in the bird kingdom.
