Indochinese Roller - Paradise Beach Resort, TH

This lovely turquoise bird was keeping watch on our resort entrance as we came through the door on the island of Koh Samui. A gorgeous stoic bird keeping watch for insects and can be seen flying out to grab them on the wing. Like its cousin this bird has windows on the tips of its wings but in more of a crescent shape. The can be found through out south east Asia to the Eastern most parts of India.
