Long-tailed Duck - Kealia Pond, HI
A little surprise in Kealia Pond while we were in Maui. A long tail duck had made its way to Hawaii presumably in a storm as they are not usually as far south as the island paradise. We are just on the southern end of the range in Vancouver, BC. where we see these typically gorgeous birds just of shore.
