This rare visitor to the Pacific Coast was my first sighting of this bird in British Columbia. The Palm Warbler is very common on the East Coast and is easily identified by its bobbing of its tail very much like the Spotted Sandpiper. This bird seemed to be happy to pick through the Oak tree in at the parking lot of Iona Park and then heading to the reed bed in the pond on the other side of the parking lot. Thanks to Carlo et al for finding this great bird.
