Prothonotary Warbler - Playa Larga, CU
I have always thought that these little birds were one of the most attractive of the warblers. This one was in the back 40 of Casa Ana in Playa Larga, checking in on the nectar feeders. I did a little research into the unusual name of this bird and have found a blog on 10,000 birds in relation, that is quite interesting.
