Red-breasted Sapsucker - Golden Eagle Golf Course, BC
Such a great bird to watch. They have some personality when they are interacting with other sapsuckers. This bird was reaping the rewards of his hard work by sucking out the sap that was coming to his "wells." He wasn't the only one either. During his absence, visitors would also benefit from his work, like a Rufous hummingbird and a Wilson's warbler. This tree is on the south end of Golden Eagle Golf Course in Maple Ridge, BC.
