Shiny Cowbird - Quito Airport, EC
Cowbirds are known to be brood parasitic nesters where their eggs are laid in unsuspecting nests so the host will raise the cowbirds as their own. In this case the unlucky parents were Rufous-collared sparrows. This little imposter was in the parking lot of the Wyndham Quito Airport hotel just adjacent to Quito airport getting fed by the his surrogates.
