Snow Bunting - Delta, BC

Snow Buntings make their way to their southern reach and stay pretty close to the USA-Canada border for the winter. We have several birds that pass though here on the coast from Sept through December but we very rarely get a few birds to stay. This was one of a group of 5 birds that were on the Tsawwassen Ferry jetty that were around for a couple weeks. For such striking birds, they sure blend in with the surroundings well.
