Swainson's Hawk - Glenmore, BC
Along Glenmore Rd. in Kelowna, BC was where this uncommon hawk was seen. The thing that stands out from the more common redtails is the dark breast and the longer looking legs. This dark morph bird was hunting a patch of ditch along the road. Others of the species can be quite light.
