Western Bluebird - Kruger Mountain, BC
While searching for a Lesser Goldfinch around Osoyoos on the old pass through the mountains we came across a family of Western Bluebirds. Typically we have more Mountain Bluebirds, but in the hottest locations of southern British Columbia the we find a few Westerns. These birds of members of the thrush family which includes the American Robin and Wood Thrush and 174 other species. They are found on almost every continent in every Ecology.
