White-headed Woodpecker - Cabin Lake Bird Blinds, OR
This unusual woodpecker was hanging around the Cabin Bird Blinds in Central Oregon with his mate. Some very interested folks have put a lot of time and effort into keeping this little corner of the world in very presentable shape, allowing birders from all over the world to enjoy the birds that call this area home. You can find White-headed woodpecker anywhere along the dry sections of the western states in the Lodgepole pines.
