Yellow-breasted Chat - 10 Mile Pond, MO
Considered part of the warbler family this gorgeous yellow masked devil is a wonderful site out on the powerline. He was singing proudly up on the wire above the hedge row keeping a real close eye below him. Who ever he was trying to impress was hidden well and not having anything to do with him. Notice the puffed out throat of this bird which happens when he is singing, making gurgling sounds.
