Black-capped Chickadee - Campbell Valley Park, BC Spring had sprung and this common little black and white bird was hunting for insects on the catkins of the willows in Campbell Valley Park in Langley, BC. The fuzzy little heads are the sure sign of spring in a great many places. the insects gravitate to the buds as they are usually the first soft and edible plants to show up in a temperate region. The Black-capped Chickadee is here year round, but I am sure, enjoys the fresh food. Michael W Klotz 2020 - www.TheBirdBlogger.com
